What's behind door no. 1?

Not every home has the room for a large pantry.  This one needed more storage space and we worked out some interesting solutions.

This room has over cabinet lights.  They don't serve any specific purpose but they do look beautiful and show off the crown moulding used on the cabinets

The space by the refrigerator is rarely used and when it is, usually you can barely fit or reach anything.

Red fabric was used on the valences to help frame the windows and give a bit more weight to that corner of the room

Never forget the importance of draperies.  They can help define your space.

Undercounter lights serve to brighten the dark corners and show off the lovely mosaic tiles in the backsplash.

Instead of a basic cabinet, we used a pullout with multiple levels to hold more pantry items and keep things nice and organized!

White cabinetry and glass doors give this kitchen a clean look while contrasting with the darker island. Two different countertops were chosen, again in contrasting colors, all creating a balanced look

The stainless steel hood and the range are the only new appliances in the kitchen.  Everything else was in good shape and reused, allowing the client to use their money for other things, like the solartube skylight above the island!

A medium stained furniture style island becomes the focal point and smooths the transition to the dining and family room spaces.
