En Suite Spa
An en suite should be luxurious and relaxing, so we tried to make this one as spa-like as possible. Neutral colors, lots of light, and natural elements like hardwood, stone, and glass helped us achieve that feeling.
This bathroom was a track home in Folsom and we wanted to add character to the cookie cutter space. By utilizing glass blocks, something that has been around since the 1800s, we were able to create a barrier and bring in a historic feel. More glass block was used to bring light into the water closet and add interest to that side of the room
The bathroom wasn't the only area we remodeled. The fireplace was looking pretty dated, so we spruced it up to match the en suite. The same travertine tile was used and we changed out the mantle.

It works out well, bringing in yet another natural element to add to the calming atmosphere of the space.
