This kitchen was not set up for a busy family. We removed the peninsula and added an island, opening the room up quite a bit. Then, we added extra cabinets and a little coffee area, which added more storage space.

 

All the appliances were replaced with Samsung's new black stainless steel, which helped add more drama. This kitchen also features mercury glass style pendant lights and these beautiful, hand-crafted, teal blue subway tiles.
